Being a vegetarian doesn't mean you have to sacrifice flavour. Delicious recipes that once contained meat can be recreated with a little imagination.

Like this Kung Pao tofu which is full of YUM!

A vegetarian recipe that does not dissappoint. In fact it will make you want to make this dish, again and again.


For this recipe, you will need:


  • 2 tablespoons Oil (we are using avocado oil)

  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic paste

  • 3-4 whole chili peppers

  • 3-4 scallions

  • 1 large green pepper

  • 1 large onion

  • 1 carrot

  • 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts

  • 1 package of firm tofu

  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon Chinese black vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine

  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon corn-starch
